Thank you, veterans!
WAIF is proud to be part of a military community. Since its founding, WAIF has had veterans, active duty service members, and military family members among its volunteers and staff. Whidbey pets have benefited greatly from these individuals’ compassion and generous spirits.
On Nov. 11, several of our staff members and one adoptable dog, Doug, took part in the Oak Harbor Veterans Day parade. We had a great time interacting with our community and expressing our gratitude to all those who serve our country.
