WAIF Shred Event

Join us Saturday, September 19th from 11am-2pm at our WAIF Thrift Store in Freeland to protect your identity and securely dispose of sensitive documents with the professional shredding services of LeMay Mobile Shredding. This event is generously sponsored by Whidbey Island Bank, a division of Heritage Bank.

Kitten Yoga

Back by popular demand is our Kitten Yoga event! Eli McBride is generously donating her time to guide you through yoga movements and poses, while our playful kittens bounce around! Don’t forget bring your own mat and be sure to wear comfortable, athletic clothing.

WAIF Cat Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

October 10th @ our shelter in Coupeville
WAIF is very excited to announce our first-ever low-cost spay/neuter clinic for income-qualified cat owners. A generous ASPCA grant (first-ever!) and Pasado’s Safe Haven Mobile Animal Sterilization Hospital (MASH) team have made these affordable surgeries possible, and they will be at our shelter on October 9th and 10th to facilitate these clinics.

The non-refundable $50 fee includes surgery, rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, microchip, dewormer, and flea control.
