We’re happy to share with you our 2022 statistics for our sheltering services. These numbers include our main shelter in Coupeville, along with the Oak Harbor Cat Adoption Center and Freeland Cat Cottage.

- Returned to Owner: 147 (134 dogs, 13 cats)
*58% of lost dogs returned to their owners (compare to national average of 22 – 25%), and 4% of lost cats returned to owners (compare to national average of 2 – 4%).
Other Outcomes: 23 (5 dogs, 18 cats)
- Died in Shelter: 3 (3 cats)
- Shelter Euthanasia: 20 (5 dogs, 15 cats)
