Mama (AKA Mom)
Hello!
Thank you so much for the note marking Mama’s one year adopt-iversary! Mama has absolutely been the best part of 2025 🙂 Volunteering at WAIF for more than a year, I met and fell in love with many cats, but Mama turned out to be the perfect match. She is still a shy girl, but she’s lots of fun (especially with a little catnip boost) and she’s the sweetest roommate.
Mama is a city kitty now! She and I moved down to Seattle over the summer, and she’s enjoying her view of birds and falling leaves from the big windows. She even enjoys the neighborhood walk to the vet in her carrier (so much better than the car!) and she’s getting more comfortable around visitors to our home.
It took me a while to find just the right buddy, but Mama was worth the wait – she’s the best!
