Lysi AKA Elysia

Here are some of Elysia’s best photos.
She has a lot of character, and I hope that comes through. She’s not a very large cat, but she is somehow very very long. Don’t ask me to explain it. In one photo, you’ll see a hummingbird feeder in the background. She’s transfixed on that for a good portion of the day and when she gets really excited, she stretches way up the length of the window—much farther than you would think would be possible for her size.
She spends a lot of time lying on her back, exposing her belly. She lets you pet her belly, hold her hands, and even gently hold her tail—something I’ve never seen in another cat.
We spend a good amount of time playing with her. She loves chasing her feather and batting a little spring around the room. A friend of ours even managed to get her to play fetch for a good 10 minutes once. She’s clearly a smart cat.
By the way, we shortened her name a little and removed the E at the beginning and the A at the end, so we now call her “Lysi,” though I still call her Elysia from time to time.
We really appreciate everything you do.
Take care. Best,
Matthew & Sarah
