Halloumi

I received your postcard and gathered some photos together of Hal. What a great thing to do and thank you for this opportunity.

Hal is doing so well, what a bundle of energy. He is quite independent, and meals seem to rule his day (and mine!). The coolest thing he does is retrieve toys, bring them right to me, and drop them at my feet. He loves that game, so we play it often.

He also has inspired my 16-year-old Bichon/Shih Tsu “Bear” to chase him down the hall as he goes wizzing by him. It is so wonderful to see them mostly get along after months of adjustment.

Hal loves getting the zoomies and running up and down the length of the house at full speed. I can make a sort of crazy-eyed face at him and he’ll just take off running, beginning the game.

He can spend hours on his perch in the sunroom watching the birds at the birdbath outside.

Happy, content kitty. I love him so much.
