Frida Kahlo AKA Novalie

Hello,

A year ago, on January 4, 2025, I adopted Novalie at the Oak Harbor site. What a kitty! She is a loving, sweet cat, who I have enjoyed since the day I brought her home. I did change her name to Frida Kahlo (sometimes, Frida Katlo) and although she isn’t an artist, she’s still unique. She greets me each morning by depositing her favorite toys on my bed, watches street live from a perch in the living room and still “makes biscuits” with her paws.

Thank you for all that you do for area cats and dogs. I found your “3 days, 3 weeks and 3 months” note that you gave me when I adopted Frida to be an extremely helpful reminder that it takes time for new pets to truly feel at home.
