Meet Kreg!
Kreg is an estimated 5-year-old Chocolate Lab weighing about 75 pounds. He came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his history, but we’ve already discovered that he is one sweet and energetic guy!
Kreg is very food-motivated and will happily work for a tasty treat—just show him a cookie, and you’ll have his full attention! He has plenty of energy and loves to run, play with toys, and chase a ball. His favorite game is fetch, although he occasionally needs a little reminder that the game works best when he brings the ball back!
Kreg already knows how to sit and lie down, and he walks fairly well on a leash once he’s had a chance to burn off some of his energy. He will need a home willing to keep working with him on training and manners while giving him plenty of exercise and enrichment.
We have not yet had the opportunity to introduce Kreg to other animals, so that is something we’ll need to learn more about.
