Full-Time and Part-Time Animal Care Technicians
Whidbey Animals’ Improvement Foundation (WAIF) seeks FT and PT Animal Care Technicians to help operate WAIF animal facilities.
Animal Care Technicians are responsible for the daily care of shelter animals and program support. The positions will also assist the public when admitting and adopting animals, and promote responsible pet ownership. Duties also include kennel cleaning, general health care of animals and light office work. Weekend work required. Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and registration required.

On-Call Retail Position
On call: 10 to 20 hours a week for our Freeland Thrift Store location.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job you may be required to stand; use step stools and ladders, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. May require lifting frequently and or move up to 50 pounds. Must work weekends and be able to fill in shifts with short notice (24 hour notice).
