Animal Care Technicians

WAIF is seeking two full-time animal care technicians for the Coupeville shelter.

Animal Care Technicians are responsible for the daily care of shelter animals (dogs and cats) and program support. These positions will also assist the public when admitting and adopting animals, and promote responsible pet ownership. Animal Care Technician are expected to work cohesively as a team player. Additional duties include kennel cleaning, general health care of animals, and light office work. Weekend work required. Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and registration required. Position may require lifting up to 50lbs and working in inclement weather. A genuine compassion and concern toward homeless cats and dogs is desired to positively promote WAIF’s mission.
