Amy
Hello! My wife and I adopted Amy a year ago from WAIF in Coupeville and just received the adorable message for our one year we’ve had her! Thank you so much!
The day we got her we brought her to our home. At the time we had little furniture since we just moved in; we had a bed of our own, a bed for Amy, and an ottoman. That day we learned how Amy truly shows her affection with her “special trick.” The same night we were going to bed and Amy had snuggled up on her bed next to ours, she quickly learned that it wasn’t close enough to us and climbed into bed next to us and immediately rolled on her back. She was just too cute to kick off.
My all-time favorite moment has to do with Amy having quite a loud bark. We had brought her to the groomers and we had gone to pick her up. When walking into the groomers, I could hear one really loud and upset dog all the way in the back. Turns out our groomer was busy and not showing Amy all of her attention, and Amy was demanding some pets.
Amy has the most personality we’ve ever seen from a dog. She makes it clear when she wants something, and she always keeps us on our toes. Amy is such a sweetheart, and everyone that meets her loves her instantly. She’s a “Velcro dog” in the truest sense. She absolutely loves pillows and lying on soft things, almost as much as she loves her blankets.
