Back by popular demand, it’s time for WAIF’s 3rd annual Poorly Drawn Pets! You know the drill: you submit a photo of your pet for $25, and a WAIF volunteer will draw a custom silly pet portrait. The artistic quality might range from mediocre to fabulous to unintentionally abstract, but whether your portrait is a mess or a masterpiece, all the proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit WAIF shelter animals waiting for their forever homes.
Want to help us draw portraits? All are welcome! No artistic skill or experience is required, and volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate. WAIF will provide the art supplies and light refreshments—all you need to bring is your sense of humor! Our drawing parties on July 24 and 25 are broken up into hour-long shifts, and you can sign up for as many shifts as you want. Click here to sign up as a volunteer artist.

WAIF Shred Event
Join us Saturday, September 19th from 11am-2pm at our WAIF Thrift Store in Freeland to protect your identity and securely dispose of sensitive documents with the professional shredding services of LeMay Mobile Shredding. This event is generously sponsored by Whidbey Island Bank, a division of Heritage Bank.
