A pretty brown and white pitbull terrier, Nora is not yet two years old. She did not appear to have had much socialization before her arrival at the shelter and she is quite shy with people she doesn’t know. Once she warms up to someone, she is a great dog but she needs a very patient owner willing to work with her to help her build confidence and trust. She also needs work on obedience training. Nora needs a home with no cats, no female dogs, and no kids under 10 years of age. She weighs 52 lb.
- No cats
- No other female dogs
- No kids under 10 years of age
A very sweet brown and white pitbull terrier, Nora is quite shy around people she doesn’t know. She doesn’t appear to have had much socialization in her past. Shelter staff have really worked with her and with people she knows, she is a friendly and fun-loving pup. She is in need of a patient family willing to give her plenty of time and lots of encouragement as she builds trust and confidence. She also needs work on obedience skills. In the right home, she will be a wonderful pet. Here is video we got of her this afternoon. Nora is not at the Coupeville shelter so if you would like to meet her or have questions, please give the staff there a call at (360) 678-8900 ext 1100. Nora also has more information on her webpage at https://waifanimals.org/dog/nora/.
