About Gus
Only 1-2 years of age, Gus is a gorgeous odd-eyed mini-Australian shepherd with a red merle coat. He came to the shelter with a group of other dogs from a home where they were poorly socialized and received no training. Gus is a very shy pup but he is also a smart fellow who loves treats so he should be quick to learn. He is in need of a dedicated family who will work with him to help him build trust and confidence. We would like potential adopters to be willing to make multiple visits to him at the shelter so he can get to know them. We estimate Gus’s current weight at 30-35 lb. He needs a home with no kids under 12 years of age.
