Eric Northman

Happy beginnings aren’t reserved for house pets—they can even happen for feral animals! Eric Northman was adopted from WAIF as a feral cat, and though he is unable to live indoors for this reason, he has found a beautiful life as a barn cat. Read what his people say about “the best barn cat ever”:

Hi WAIF team,

Just a quick note to let you know that Eric Northman is doing great! He is so good at his job. He is the king of our small farm and, unlike other barn cats we have had, he seems to stay close to the barn. This gives me great hope that we will get to enjoy him for many years to come. I just love spotting him enjoying the sun, standing outside the barn, or sometimes just popping his head out of his door to say hello.

He is still quite shy, but here are a couple of photos I have of him.
